CHAPLAIN SPIKE GILBERT
“Spike Gilbert, M.Div., BCC, serves as Chaplain at St. Rose de Lima Hospital, and has been on Staff at that location for over 1 year. He came to St. Rose de Lima following 1 years as Emergency Room Chaplain at Siena Campus in Henderson. He received training at the University of Wisconsin Madison Campus, (B.A. 1975) and George Fox Seminary, Newburg/Portland, Oregon (MDiv., 2006) He completed his Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) in 2008 at Banner Good Samaritan, Mesa, AZ and became a Board Certified Chaplain in November, 2009. Chaplain Gilbert has worked in Hospice care since 1990 with the Hospice of St. John, Lakewood, Colorado, and as a Hospital Chaplain since 1998 serving Good Samaritan Regional Hospital, Corvallis, Oregon. Chaplain Gilbert is interested in support for people in Divorce Recovery, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and resilience studies.”
